Voodoo Doughnut is well know all the way from Portland up to Vancouver. It’s famous for their crazy doughnut creations and equally crazy line ups. On our way out of Portland we stopped by Voodoo Doughnut Too (their second location), around 2 pm on a Wednesday and there was still maybe a 15 minute wait. The staff was very friendly and happily suggested an assortment of doughnuts so that we got to try a large variety of what they had to offer. We got a large box of doughnuts and took it on the rode with us, eating 3 on the way up and then sharing the other 9ish with family and then with friends in the parking lot of our favourite pub.
I’m not going to comment on all of the doughnuts that we got, as I ate them a while ago, don’t have pictures of all of them, and only ate a bite or two of some of them. My favourites were The Portland Cream, the Blueberry Cake Doughnut, and Apple Fritter. Overall I would say that the doughnuts are good, but not the best you can get in Portland, but their crazy flavours and appearances make any of Voodoo’s locations worth a visit at least once.
